Kinda Sorta is an Americana band based in Austin, Texas, comprised of Carla Coleman (vocals, keyboards), Danny Coleman (vocals, bass), Jeff Hoffman (vocals, guitar) and Jeff Spencer (vocals, percussion). All are veteran musicians, having spent decades performing throughout the U.S. in rock, blues, folk, country, jazz, Americana, and classical music settings. The music of Kinda Sorta is all original and blends these various genres into a unique sound.
Kinda Sorta News Flash: Kinda Sorta is thrilled to announce the addition of our newest member, Jim Ragland. Jim is a multi-instrumentalist (guitar, mandolin, lap steel, harmonica, dulcimer, banjo, keyboards, and pretty much anything else he can get his hands on). Jim is also a singer and songwriter. He has played in a number of bands, spent much of his professional career composing and performing music for theater productions, and has performed as a solo artist (including a residency at Austin's historic Driskill Bar). We're taking the remainder of the Summer off from performing in order to rehearse and integrate Jim into Kinda Sorta, but are already beginning to line up performance dates for the Fall. See you then!
